About
Alex Lark (b. 1992 in Melbourne, Australia) lives and works in Melbourne.
Lark’s work is driven by his interest in perception, subjective experience, language and the quality of being human. His work is a way to question the emotionally and physically constructed world we exist in. To intervene in the passive stream of everyday life.
His practice has led him to work with artists and studios in Berlin, New York and Los Angeles while based in Germany and the USA between 2011-2022. He is currently studying his Master of Contemporary Art at the Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne.
